This is my first blog post! When I decided to go more full time with my Photography business in July, I really wanted to focus on the connection with the people I photograph. For me, having that connection with my clients helps me to be a more creative photographer.
So for my official first post, I would like to introduce to you the M family! John and Emily have worked so hard to build Cedar Draw Cidery in Buhl, Idaho. Just a couple of doors down from me. I have watched their children grow along with their thriving business. I have to be honest, about 4 months ago, I seriously thought about leaving the Magic Valley for good. After trying working out of town for awhile, I kept wanting to come home. It is people like John and Emily, that make me want to stay!
About the shoot - We waited until literally the last minute before deciding to just go for it. 1 hour before sunset is my favorite time to shoot. Wind and Rain didn't stop this family from capturing some beautiful moments. I stuck with my prime lens of 85mm and chose to shoot naturally without off Camera Flash because of the wind. I have had my flashes blow over way too many times. Can't wait to share more!
Thanks for reading. Let me know what you want to hear more of including tips and tricks!
